What causes pain in leg?
Pain in leg is often caused by an injury but sometimes
the causes are non traumatic also. An injury caused by a fall or twisting of the lag can damage the bones, muscles and joints or all the three which can result in inflammation which in turn causes pain in the leg.
An injury to the back can also cause inflammation of the sciatica nerve which causes pain in the leg. Among the non traumatic causes of leg pain, high diabetes is the main cause. Peripheral vascular disease causes narrowing of the blood vessels which restricts the
supply of blood to the leg muscles. This can also cause pain in the leg.
Pain in legs can also be caused by the formation of blood clots. An illness or a skin problem which causes inflammation can also be the cause of it. Some medicines can also cause pain in the leg.Category: Pain Management
