What causes breast cancer?

The experts are still debating the exact causes of breast cancer but the major risk factors are known to all. Some of these are the age as it is seen that breast cancer is more prevalent among women above 50 years of age.

Women with family history of breast cancer are also at a

higher risk. Women who had cancer of the breast or the ovaries also face a higher risk. The experts are also probing the relationship between hormones and breast cancer.

Women who have no children or did not conceive till the age of 30 face a slightly higher risk. Obesity and too much alcohol also are the factors that can up the risk. Similar is the case with obesity.
